Uniblue's ProcessScanner isn't just a useful tool to assist you identifying any malicious software on your computer, but it also scans for spyware, adware and virus programs. In contrast to many software tools available on the market, Uniblue is very different in that it links to Process Libraries database (which, by the byline, is owned by Microsoft) and enables identification of every process running simultaneously on your PC. If you're unfamiliar with what a Process Library is, let me explain: Every Windows based program accesses a central database called 'process'. This database contains every single function a program performs on your computer, and because it is maintained separately from the main Windows application, any time you start up an application, even if you aren't running anything at the time, it will still access the Process Library.
To use our example, if you have a virus that is preventing you from viewing the contents of your latest emails, just open the email program, launch it and when it's done scanning the mail folders, right click on the Start button/word bar and go to properties. In the properties window you will notice that there are two items that are separated by a blank line, which are labelled Processscan. Click on the Scan button and the Process Scanner will open up. You can then identify all the viruses that are preventing the email application from opening, as well as any other malicious applications you may have running at the same time as your email application.
As mentioned earlier, ProcessScanner does more than just scan for malicious software. It can be used to perform a deep registry scan to uncover errors and fix them, as well as scan for missing application files. All this can be done in just a few minutes with no need to dedicate hours of your time manually repairing these errors. If you find that you are having issues with your computer that seems to be occurring due to a virus or spyware infection, then you should download a free version of the software today and perform an effective scan on the system. The results will surprise you.
